Cover Letter Directions:  Argument 4

Respond to each of the following: 

  1. Describe the changes you made in moving from the rough draft to the final draft of your argument. [Include changes in ideas, organization, sources, and presentation].

  2. Your final draft should contain a claim about which of your two items/methods is better. Tell me where you put this claim (near the beginning? at the end?) and why you put it where you did.

  3. Explain to me how (and where) you try to consider an opposing position in your final draft.

  4. Which of your sources was the most useful in developing your argument? Why? (Be specific.)

  5. Which of your sources was the hardest to work with? Why?

  6. Describe any difficulties you had with any of the following: in-text citation, the sources list,  the alternative sources list.  If you had no difficulties at all, then type NONE.

  7. Tell me anything you think I should know about what's in (or not in) your folder. 
    If there is nothing you think I need to know, then just type OK.
