Hello Residents of the 2008-2009 School Year:
           
I would like to first take the chance to welcome all of the new students to Youngstown State University. My name is Robyn Ray and I will be your Resident Assistant, RA, for the upcoming year. This is my second year as an RA and my third year in school. I am in the Psychology-Physical Therapy program. I am apart of YSU’s track and field team; I love to run and especially jump. I attended high school in Cleveland, Ohio, where I was involved in various sports and clubs. I have four younger siblings; three brothers and one sister.

I am looking forward to my second year as an RA; I enjoy meeting new people and learning about others. My main goal is to help all of the first year students make a smooth transition into the college life while having fun, and creating a better experience for those of you that are returning students. I have big plans for this year all which I would like all of you be involved in not only as participants, but as planners. I look forward to your input in things such as floor programs, door decs, and even what you would like to see on our bulletin boards. This is OUR floor. I want all of you to feel comfortable to be yourselves without feeling you don’t fit in. I am here to help you so please never hesitate to ask a question or ask for help in any situation; and if there are any answers that I do not know I will get them for you.
