The mission of the Office of Student Diversity Programs is to advance diversity, equal opportunity, and
positive race and community relations on campus and in the Youngstown area. The Office promotes student success through services and programs that will enhance academic, social, career and leadership development and co-curricular experiences.

The Office of Student Diversity Programs coordinates the Work Experience Program which is designed to assist African American students with employment opportunities combined with mentorship. They also coordinate the Emergency Minority Loan Program which is limited $200.00 emergency loan for African American students which must be paid back in sixty days.
