YSU requires students living on campus to carry health insurance and recommends that all students have insurance coverage.
Students may choose the health insurance described below, may have coverage with their parent's plan, or may purchase health insurance coverage from another provider or carrier. The insurance described below is not for international students. For more information on insurance for international students contact the Center for International Studies and Programs at 330-941-2336. Current YSU students do not need health insurance to use the services at the Student Health Clinic.
Who is eligible to enroll in the insurance plan?
All registered undergraduate YSU students (other than international students) taking nine or more credit hours.
All registered graduate YSU students (other than international students) taking six or more credit hours.
Dependants are eligible for an additional fee.
