The first union station ever built, Union Station’s majestic red brick and granite head house, recognized as one of the finest Romanesque Revival styled structures in America houses the Grand Hall and Conference Center. The palatial Grand Hall is marked with distinctive arches, columns and terrazzo floors and features two identical 20-foot leaded stained glass wheel windows and a 100-foot backlight stained glass barrel ceiling. These are a few of the jewels of this National Historic Site.
