for Mahoning County was slightly higher than state and national rates.
Between 1996 and 1997, there was a 2.3 rate increase in Mahoning County,
which was almost 3 points higher than the state rate. These rates correspond
to the influx of individuals in alcohol treatment, diagnosed with cirrhosis
of the liver. |
